The Recording & Broadcast Studio project was constructed in the basement level of the Sydney Opera House.

Building works included the construction of a new two storey state-of-the-art recording facility which has multiple studios and technical work areas. The facility features acoustic wall and ceiling panels, and very high levels of acoustic treatment to all building elements. Timber doors and windows provide a contrast to the dark finishes of the walls and metalwork.

Project challenges involved difficult access, restricted working conditions and restricted work hours to suit the needs of the Opera House.
