Scope
This D&C project involves the construction of a new public pavilion which will become an iconic landmark on Barangaroo’s foreshore. The Pier Pavilion will be a place where people can meet, gather and relax by the water, or enjoy a range of Barangaroo events.
Besley Spresser’s winning design for the project was selected in a national design competition from 170 entrants. The structure will include a green rooftop garden with indigenous plant species and will be clad in oyster concrete – made from oyster shells.
