Nepean Hospital

This project included the staged construction of a new cancer treatment clinic, medical consult rooms and new Linac bunker. 

For the first stage of works Stephen Edwards Constructions completed the design and construct of a new prefabricated facility which doubled the amount of chemotherapy chairs from 15 to 30, as well as the new Linac radiotherapy bunker.

With concrete walls up to 1600mm thick in some areas, the bunker area required specialised formwork and concrete placement. The final stage included refurbishment of the existing chemotherapy clinic rooms.
