SEC was engaged to construct the Lemur Forest Adventure at Taronga Zoo. The site was the old Seal Pools exhibit which is located in the heart of the zoo. The project comprised of the following:

• Magnificent cantilevered waterfall flowing into three ponds
• An interactive Lemur enclosure which allows the general public to walk through the actual Lemur enclosure
• A forest adventure with conservation messages for children and adults opening into a magnificent play area for children with elevated viewing platform looking out over the harbour
• Lemur night dens designed to meet all the Lemur’s welfare needs
• Western ramp access facilities

Our project team overcame project challenges including a very tight site area and challenging project location which posed multiple issues with materials handling and day to day access through the zoo.
